John the Baptizer sends two of his disciples to ask Jesus "are you who comes...?" After answering, Jesus asks the multitudes why they went out to see John and explains that John was fulfilling prophecy. Jesus then points out how the people complained about both John and Jesus in contradictory ways, and denounces the cities where so many of his miracles were done. Read from the World English Bible.
