Show Notes

With remakes, reboots, reimaginings and rehashes all the craze in Hollywood Jon and Matt strap on their Proton Packs and prepare to tackle the latest franchise to be resuscitated for a new audience - Ghostbusters.

When the first trailer appeared online there was outrage amongst the morons of the world. Now that things have died down and the film is finally out, Jon and Matt venture forth to find out whether this new Ghostbusters is actually any good. Could it possibly be better than the 1984 original? Or should be banished to the netherworld of needless Hollywood cash-grabs?

Join Matt & Jon as they discuss the trailer for Ghostbusters. Then - after the film has been released - they return to discuss the feature itself.

What is The PrePost Film Review?

In each episode of The PrePost Film Review hosts Jon Asquith and Matt Stephenson discuss a film over two distinct periods.

First - brief, spoiler free impressions of a trailer upon its release. Followed by a spoiler-filled review recorded months later once the film hits cinemas.

A thoughtful and occasionally funny look at how trailers represent films.
