आत्मज्ञानप्राप्तिः.....

कदाचित् नारदः स्वसोदराणां सनक-सनत्कुमार-सनन्दन-सन्त्सुजातानां वैराग्यम् आत्मज्ञानप्राप्तिजिज्ञासां जानन् 'योग्यं गुरुम् अन्विष्य मुक्तिं प्राप्तुं प्रयत्नं कुर्वन्तु' इति स्मारितवान् । सनकादयः वैकुण्ठं यदा गतवन्तः तत्र लक्ष्मीसहितं विष्णुं, तत्रत्यं वैभवं दृष्ट्वा आत्मज्ञानं कथं लभेत इति अचिन्तयन् । सर्वम् अन्तर्ज्ञानेन जानन् शिवः सनकादीन् अनुग्रहीतुम् इच्छन् दक्षिणामूर्तिरूपेण अवतारं प्राप्य वटवृक्षस्य अधः चिन्मुद्रां‌ धृत्वा उपाविशत् । वैकुण्ठतः प्रत्यागच्छन्तः सनकादयः शिवस्य दर्शनसमनन्तरं त्रिभिः प्रदक्षिणैः तं नमस्कृत्य पादमूले उपविश्य समाधिस्थाः सन्तः आत्मज्ञानवन्तः जाताः ।

Narada, noticing his brothers’ desire for self-realization, advised them to find a wise teacher to achieve liberation. The Sanakas visited Vaikuntha, where they saw Lord Vishnu with Goddess Lakshmi and the splendor of his realm. However, they wondered how self-realization was possible amidst such luxury. Understanding their quest, Lord Shiva appeared as Dakshinamurti, seated under a banyan tree in silence, symbolizing wisdom. When the Sanakas returned and saw Dakshinamurti, they bowed to him, meditated, and in his presence, achieved self-realization and ultimate truth.

What is बालमोदिनी?

सम्भाषणसन्देशः इति संस्कृतमासिकपत्रिका (https://sambhashanasandesha.in) । एतस्यां पत्रिकायां प्रकाशिताः लेखाः, कथाः, बालकथाः, वार्ताः इत्यादिकं सर्वम् अपि सरलसंस्कृतेन एव प्रकाश्यते । तत्रत्याः “बालमोदिनी”नामिकाः बालकथाः अत्र प्रसार्यन्ते । अतः अस्याः शृङ्खलायाः नाम अपि “बालमोदिनी” एव । लघु गात्रं, सरला भाषा च कथानां विशेषः । प्रत्येकं कथा काञ्चित् नीतिं बोधयति । बालकथाः आबालवृद्धं सर्वेषां प्रियाः । संस्कृतेन ताः श्रोतुम् उपलब्धाः भवन्तु इति एषः प्रयत्नः श्रोतृभ्यः अवश्यं रोचेत इति विश्वासः । संस्कृतक्षेत्रे संस्कृतेन पॉड्कास्ट् क्रियमाणाः एताः प्रप्रथमाः कथाः इति सगौरवम् उद्घोष्यते ।
