Ep. 49 Boxer Ronny Rios joins Coach J for another episode of the Empire Boxing Podcast. Ronny is a California native and was a decorated amateur winning the National Golden Gloves and two US National bantamweight championships. He has held the WBC-NABF super bantamweight titles since 2019 and challenged for the WBC super bantamweight title in 2017 and the unified WBA (super) and IBF super bantamweight titles in 2022. He recently returned from a 18 month hiatus to win by knockout this past April. Coach J and Ronny talk origin story, family, the ups and downs of the sport both mentally and physically and more.
