शान्तचित्ततायाः मार्गः

कदाचित् कश्चन शिष्यः मनसः शान्तिप्राप्तिमार्गं गुरुः पृच्छति । तदा सः गजभृङ्गयोः कथां श्रावयित्वा वदति 'अस्मान् परितः यद्यत् प्रवर्तेत तत्र अस्माकं दृष्टिः तु भवेत् । किन्तु ते अंशाः अस्माकं‌ मनसि चाञ्चल्यं न जनयेयुः । यत् क्रियते तत्र मनसः पूर्णमग्नता स्यात् । अस्माकं निर्णयः बाह्यांशप्रभावयुक्तः न भवेत् । अयमेव शान्तचित्ततायाः मार्गः' इति ।

Once, a disciple asked his teacher the path to attain peace of mind. The teacher narrated the story of the elephant and the bee, then explained: “Whatever happens around us, our eyes may observe it, but it should not disturb the calm of our mind. Whatever task we undertake, our mind should be fully immersed in it. Our decisions must not be influenced by external distractions. This alone is the path to a peaceful mind.”

What is बालमोदिनी?

सम्भाषणसन्देशः इति संस्कृतमासिकपत्रिका (https://sambhashanasandesha.in) । एतस्यां पत्रिकायां प्रकाशिताः लेखाः, कथाः, बालकथाः, वार्ताः इत्यादिकं सर्वम् अपि सरलसंस्कृतेन एव प्रकाश्यते । तत्रत्याः “बालमोदिनी”नामिकाः बालकथाः अत्र प्रसार्यन्ते । अतः अस्याः शृङ्खलायाः नाम अपि “बालमोदिनी” एव । लघु गात्रं, सरला भाषा च कथानां विशेषः । प्रत्येकं कथा काञ्चित् नीतिं बोधयति । बालकथाः आबालवृद्धं सर्वेषां प्रियाः । संस्कृतेन ताः श्रोतुम् उपलब्धाः भवन्तु इति एषः प्रयत्नः श्रोतृभ्यः अवश्यं रोचेत इति विश्वासः । संस्कृतक्षेत्रे संस्कृतेन पॉड्कास्ट् क्रियमाणाः एताः प्रप्रथमाः कथाः इति सगौरवम् उद्घोष्यते ।
