Speaker 1: Hello and welcome everyone to our SFI I o episode today. It's wonderful to be here with you. What a grace to be together with all of our hearts and our innermost selves. As we reflect on today's gospel reading from Luke 12, verse 21. Thus it will be for the one who stores up treasures for himself, but is not rich in what matters to God. Like the barn builder in this parable, our Driving, striving and perfectionistic tending. Manager parts are often very talented at gaining riches, earning accolades and storing up treasures after producing Bountiful harvests. But our protector parts are often quite unable to see or to understand the long game, or to know what the greatest treasures really are. You exiled parts are some of the greatest treasures in your inner system, like hidden gems yet undiscovered. You have the potential to bring Bountiful gifts, insights, and ideas to yourself. System. True, it takes a great deal of self leadership with courage, confidence, and compassion for other parts to learn, to tolerate, accept and welcome you. Exiled parts, especially the protector parts who have taken it upon themselves to keep you hidden, silenced, and exiled. Speaker 1: To some extent. You exiled parts share in the experience of the North American martyrs we celebrate today. It took a long time for the Native Americans, who had good intentions of protecting their people from harm, to learn to trust the Jesuit missionaries and open their hearts to receive what they had to offer. The exile. These saints suffered may be a source of inspiration for your whole system. As you learn to understand what multiplicity looks like and feels like, and how strong protector parts can dominate a system until self leadership grows and develops. You exiled parts really matter to God and so do you. Protector parts. Just as the Native Americans and the Jesuit martyrs mattered to God. All of you matter to God. And it matters to God that all of you parts become integrated with your innermost self, thus better able to receive and share love. Each of you have been created for love by love. And when you become integrated, you can become love in the body of Christ. May it be so. In God's time. Speaker 2: I love hearing from you listeners.
