The Life & Loss Podcast

Welcome to the Life and Loss Podcast where we seek to normalise conversations about illness and grief, helping individuals feel less isolated and alone. Today, I’m joined by two nurses from Forest Holme Hospice, Louise and Rose. Between them, they have years of experience providing compassionate end-of-life care, supporting patients and families through the most difficult time of their lives.
Hospice care is often misunderstood, and there are so many myths out there that can make people feel fearful or hesitant about accessing support. So today, we’re tackling those misconceptions head-on.

What is The Life & Loss Podcast?

‘Life & Loss’ is a new 21-part podcast series from Forest Holme Hospice Charity offering support and guidance for individuals facing a life-limiting illness or navigating grief.

Episodes will be released every week and the series brings together individuals of different ages and backgrounds with unique first-hand experiences, alongside healthcare professionals, to share their stories, knowledge, information, and strategies for coping with the many challenges associated with life-limiting illnesses and grief.
