Voices of Chandler

The United States Bureau of Reclamation declared a Tier 1 Colorado River Shortage in August. This announcement did not come as a surprise to the City of Chandler as Chandler has spent decades planning and preparing for natural occurring droughts through smart investments in infrastructure, a diverse water portfolio and a robust conservation program. Chandler Councilmember Rene Lopez sits down with Warren Tenney, Executive Director with the Arizona Municipal Water Users Association to discuss what this shortage looks like for the City and the State.
