Sharpen Your Arrows

The name of this podcast comes from Psalm 127:3

Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord,
    the fruit of the womb a reward.
Like arrows in the hand of a warrior
    are the children of one's youth.
Blessed is the man
    who fills his quiver with them!
He shall not be put to shame
    when he speaks with his enemies in the gate.

Children are like arrows. Arrows to be sent out into the world. But don't send out dull and broken arrows. Send out sharp and straight arrows. Send out children trained up in the way of the Lord. 

This podcast originated is a set of videos made for my kids. I am sharing it here to bless others and to encourage my growth as a teacher.

What is Sharpen Your Arrows?

Children are arrows to be shot into the world. Do not send out dull and broken arrows. But send out sharp arrows! Train your children to love and serve God. Send them out with the Sword of the Spirit and the full armor of God.
