Means of Creation

A few weeks ago, Linktree, a link-in-bio platform that serves as the de facto landing page for 12 million creators, announced a $45m Series B funding round led by Index Ventures and Coatue. Linktree is used by everyone from celebrities like Selena Gomez, Katy Perry, and Chrissy Tiegen, to large organizations like Shopify, TikTok, Facebook, and Redbull. In September last year, it was reported that 28,000 new creators were signing up every day to use Linktree.

In this episode, we’re joined by Linktree’s CEO Alex Zaccarria, trying to unpack their most recent pitch to investors, where and how the company fits into the creator’s economy’s future, and much more.
