Weekend plans? Oh, wait, yeah...I forgot, it’s 2020. SORRY! NEVERMIND! ANOTHER PET PEEVE & a weirdness. Cell phones have given us the innate ability to answer when someone we know calls. Why does ANYONE NOT have their caller ID enabled? If I get a call with no ID, it goes to voice mail...AND if you don’t leave a message the number goes to the BLOCKED list. Is it just ME? Oh, the weirdness. I made 2 outgoing calls yesterday, both to my GP doctor’s office trying to get rescheduled. Later in the day as I was waiting for the Tree Trimmer guys to call, a number popped on screen that I di dnot know. I figured the tree trimmers. WRONG! A lady on the other end stated she got 2 calls with no message from my number earlier today. I looked at my call list and the number that called me IS NOT ON MY LIST. I apologized and told her, no, only two calls I made was to my doctors answering service. SHE did sound a great deal like the voice of the service, though the numbers don’t match. How could MY number show up TWICE on her phone when the only 2 calls I made where to my docs answering service, which she stated she did not work for or at!
