Much like the church at Colossae, we are tempted to take shortcuts looking for quick results but God's Kingdom requires consistent and intentional investment to produce good and lasting fruit. When we keep to the real truth of the gospel, it leads to the flourishing of individual lives and our community. While Christian heresy–while it may seem appealing–always leads to the decaying of our lives and community.
