Inside Fundamentalism

It would be a grave mistake to think that fundamentalists, the strictly observant, are focused solely on the afterlife or reaching for perfection

Show Notes

It would be a grave mistake to think that fundamentalists, the strictly observant, are focused solely on the afterlife or reaching for perfection. Their engagement in this world and healing its troubles is undeniable. Community relations in Stamford Hill, Church of England schools in inner London and outreach programmes from some of our biggest mosques, the list is long. Many believers assert that social engagement is not only desirable but is essential in their faith.

Presented by Dr Ed Kessler, Founder Director of the Woolf Institute.
