The Craft with May Globus

Christina Culver is dynamite - there’s nothing this woman can’t do. A clothing designer, nail artist, self-taught vegan chef, stick & poke tattooist, and athlete, she’s always followed her natural talents and turned them into business ventures.

After launching her fashion brand Christina Darling in 2005, she also found herself doing nail art for runway and magazines, too. Then in 2012, she launched Culver City Salads, a vegan food truck that quickly gained a loyal following, before trying her hand at stick & poke tattooing.

In this conversation, we talk about her growing up in a family of athletes, grief around the death of her beloved uncle Dan to a mountaineering accident on K2, what she learned about herself and others during this trying year, and more.

What is The Craft with May Globus?

The Craft is an audio-visual collection of intimate conversations with creatives, entrepreneurs, and pioneers across disciplines. Each episode weaves through their personal backstory, creative process, and way of living—an exploration of the humanity that connects us all.

Alongside the conversations, the show’s visual storytelling—through editorial-style photography—offers another way in. Like a modern-day magazine editorial, each image is a quiet window into the spirit of the guest and the world they’re shaping.
