President's Chapel @ Elim Bible College

This message challenges believers to make preaching the gospel their primary calling—whether that happens behind a pulpit or in everyday conversations. Drawing from 2 Timothy 4:1–5, the speaker highlights the importance of staying faithful to God’s Word, especially in a culture that continues to drift from the truth. Faithful preaching starts with personally hearing from God through prayer and Scripture and handling the Bible with clarity, conviction, and integrity.
Preaching isn’t about performance; it’s about shepherding people. It’s motivated by love and aimed at life transformation, not applause (Colossians 1:28). While preparation is important, real impact ultimately comes from the power of the Holy Spirit, not human ability (1 Corinthians 2:4–5). The speaker also reminds us that the gospel must be spoken (Romans 10:14), even as we strive to live lives that reflect it.
He closes by encouraging students to push past fear, depend on the Spirit, and commit themselves to faithfully proclaiming Christ wherever God sends them.
