We talk with Christian Lee Cones who was recently on the dating show that was like Bridgerton meets the Bachelor made by NBC called "The Courtship" about his journey from a small town in Indiana to his life now.

  • Sarah is a big fan of reality dating shows, she is a fan of relationships, that's why she spent so much time as a couples therapist. So she was very intrigued when she saw Christian Lee Cones on the show "The Courtship" which is like Bridgerton meets the Bachelor. 
  • The Courtships' IMBD description is "Bringing true romance back, this Regency-style series will enable a group of eligible suitors to win the heart of the Heroine. Carriage rides, handwritten letters, this is a time-traveling game for love."
  • Christian Lee Cones talks about the origin story of his journey of self discovery. He had a bit of an awakening during the pandemic, when there was nothing else to do than just sit with his demons. He started educating himself and working on himself wondering when happiness would become a permanent thing instead of just moments of happiness.
  • When asked what was his proudest moment from being on The Courtship, Christian said that although the toxic masculine side of him wants to say winning the festival of strengths (he said jokingly), but it would probably when he came out as sexually fluid on the show.
  • He received a lot for encouragement from people on social media for his bravery and even got messages of how his actions inspired others.
  • We talk about how love is a choice and not just a feeling. So committed relationships continue to choose each other.
  • Christian feels like he is very old fashioned and born at the wrong time.
  • Christian talks about how he was perceived on the show, some people even called him a himbo.
