Tents: Do you really need to go overlanding with a tent? Fitness: Is being physically fit an important part of setting out on a big trip? Money: How do you handle your money or money sources when travelling? Carrying money? Transferring money? Exchange? Do you spend all your money in a country before you leave it and then get money in the correct currency in the next country? Or how do you do it? It's poo. The idea of using a non-western toilet makes me pucker. How do you handle it? Do you bring your own loo-paper and pretend you are safe in your own bathroom? Or do you learn the lavatorial etiquette for each country you travel through?
