March 10, 2022--Alicia Bales presents a very special program remembering Legendary Civil Rights Attorney Dennis Cunningham, who died on Saturday March 6, 2022 at the age of 86. Featuring an interview with Dennis first broadcast on October 29, 2019 for the KZYX Ecology Hour, just before Dennis was honored by EPIC the Environmental Protection Information Center in Humboldt county for his lifetime of advocacy on behalf of activists. With reflections from Darryl Cherney, who Dennis represented in his civil rights case with Judi Bari against the FBI and Oakland Police, and from Tom Wheeler, the executive director of EPIC, about Dennis’s role as a hero to up and coming social justice lawyers.
