Our New Muses Monday kicks off with one of the most apropos tunes in history, with David Bowie & John Lennon teaming up to release "Fame" on this date in 1975. Who better to talk the pitfalls, right? After that, we got two hours of new joints all the way until 10pm with a huge weekend of releases, with Jordan Rakei, Lucy Dacus, and Faye Webster out with new tunes & LP's, but there is a true behemoth on the horizon with Metallica's absolutely massive 30th anniversary edition of their self-titled album from 1991 coming out called Blacklist, featuring 52 tracks and an absolutely stellar lineup of the creme de la creme in the biz. We got our first taste of that with Miley Cyrus & Elton John along with Yo-yo Ma teaming up on "Nothing Else Matters" to end hour 1. After halftime, Yejin is back in studio after barely surviving her final exams (not that she didn't ace them, we're merely speaking physically). Great new drama, fresh cuts, and an OST spotlight to end the show on Black Summer, season 2 of which dropped a couple weeks prior.
