And it really looks at the"},{"speaker":"Meredith Fix","startTime":269.52,"endTime":274.38,"body":"rate of innovation, compared to"},{"speaker":"Meredith Fix","startTime":274.38,"endTime":279.21,"body":"our ability as humans to adapt."},{"speaker":"Meredith Fix","startTime":274.38,"endTime":279.21,"body":"Right. So as you can see,"},{"speaker":"Meredith Fix","startTime":279.21,"endTime":282.63,"body":"there's a pretty big gap here."},{"speaker":"Meredith Fix","startTime":279.21,"endTime":282.63,"body":"And I think the challenge for"},{"speaker":"Meredith Fix","startTime":282.63,"endTime":287.61,"body":"organizations for the C suite is"},{"speaker":"Meredith Fix","startTime":282.63,"endTime":287.61,"body":"to figure out how to close that"},{"speaker":"Meredith Fix","startTime":287.61,"endTime":290.88,"body":"gap. And I think that's a"},{"speaker":"Meredith Fix","startTime":287.61,"endTime":290.88,"body":"really, really important thing"},{"speaker":"Meredith Fix","startTime":290.88,"endTime":295.56,"body":"to understand and talk about,"},{"speaker":"Meredith Fix","startTime":290.88,"endTime":295.56,"body":"and really why why does this gap"},{"speaker":"Meredith Fix","startTime":295.56,"endTime":301.5,"body":"exist? We have this sort"},{"speaker":"Meredith Fix","startTime":306.66,"endTime":310.8,"body":"of natural inclination to lean"},{"speaker":"Meredith Fix","startTime":310.8,"endTime":315.42,"body":"towards the status quo to"},{"speaker":"Meredith Fix","startTime":310.8,"endTime":315.42,"body":"prioritize the present. And so I"},{"speaker":"Meredith Fix","startTime":315.42,"endTime":319.35,"body":"think one of the things that"},{"speaker":"Meredith Fix","startTime":315.42,"endTime":319.35,"body":"companies on the West Coast,"},{"speaker":"Meredith Fix","startTime":319.38,"endTime":322.86,"body":"technology companies, one of the"},{"speaker":"Meredith Fix","startTime":319.38,"endTime":322.86,"body":"ways that maybe they're"},{"speaker":"Meredith Fix","startTime":322.86,"endTime":327.63,"body":"different, is because they"},{"speaker":"Meredith Fix","startTime":322.86,"endTime":327.63,"body":"understand the importance of"},{"speaker":"Meredith Fix","startTime":328.08,"endTime":332.25,"body":"creating psychologically safe"},{"speaker":"Meredith Fix","startTime":328.08,"endTime":332.25,"body":"cultures. I think that's"},{"speaker":"Meredith Fix","startTime":338.52,"endTime":341.82,"body":"part of why you see that that"},{"speaker":"Meredith Fix","startTime":338.52,"endTime":341.82,"body":"difference.
