Artist, session musician and ICMP BA Creative Musicianship tutor Erika Footman tells us all about her time as a BV for popstar MIKA, lead vocalist for politically-charged band Senser, all the way through to her regular gig with alternative rock heroes Skunk Anansie. Erika also shares her top tips for up and coming artists, contributing to taking a bit of pressure off them during these exceptional times.

Erika Footman is an artist, songwriter, DYI music entrepreneur, music educator, and session player who has worked with artists and bands such as MIKA, Senser, Skunk Anansie, Bastille, and many more. Erika has written, recorded, produced, and released three solo albums on her own label, toured extensively as a solo artist, and written with production teams such as So Solid Crew, Full Phatt (Taylor Swift, Mutya Buena), plus Rux and Rob from Swedish duo, Rob & Nino.
