Betsy Cooper is the Director of the Aspen Tech Policy Hub. The Aspen Tech Policy Hub is a policy incubator that came out of the Aspen Institute, one of the top think tanks in the US. Prior to founding and leading Aspen Tech Policy Hub, Betsy was the Executive Director at the Berkeley Center for Long-Term Cybersecurity at UC Berkeley. She has also worked at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security as an attorney advisor to the Deputy General Counsel and provided homeland security consulting for the Prime Minister’s Strategy Unit in London, the World Bank, among others.
