This is an introductory talk on the esoteric sciences by Bodo Balsys, given in Brussels in 2013 to a small audience, whose main language was French, and who were also following the doctrines of another teacher. The talk was therefore somewhat slanted towards integrating the concepts of that teacher with the esoteric doctrine. A brief spiritual history of the speaker is given, plus the explanation of some basic concepts concerning the world of meditation. Some personal inner plane past life perceptions are provided. The existence of enlightened Beings (the Hierarchy of Light and Love) and the associated Masters is also acknowledged.
