When I came to America in 1994, I was stunned to see how many Christians there were. Everyone seemed to be a Christian— even politicians, athletes, and actors. It was trendy to be a believer in Jesus Christ.
In less than 30 years, I've watched it go the other way. Now, it's not popular to be a believer in Christ. If you're a Christian, you're considered a hater. You are now unnecessary, unwanted, and even rejected.
Wherever you find yourself today, even if you're looked at as a bigot or unwanted, God has you right where He now needs you. You are still called to be a light of truth and redemption in this generation. You're called by God to be used by Him so others can see His love and mercy towards them through you. Ask Him for strength.
It's time to pray.
