Reading 1 Samuel Chapter 31

The Philistines decisively win the battle against Saul, his sons, and his army. Three of Saul's sons are killed and he is severely wounded. He decides to kill himself. Then Israelite people living around there abandon their cities and the Philistines come and live in them. The day after the battle, the Philistines find Saul's and his son's bodies and display them dishonorably on a wall. Read from the World English Bible.
