Show Notes

I'm going to get on my soapbox for a second. Recently two streamers came under fire for doing some terrible things in video games. One used an aimbot in a competition to instantly kill other players without any extra skill needed. The other individual stole an item drop from a group of players that they were grouped with while adventuring in a dungeon in a video game.

These actions were not without consequences. One got banned from the game, and the other removed from an organization of which they were a member. In the aftermath, to paraphrase, both spoke about how they are better than other players, because of their fame. These two incidents made me extremely mad.

I say to anyone, don't ever forget those around you. No one should ever be above another one. You may be better skilled than others, but it gives you no excuse to treat others like garbage. You may be more famous than others, but your viewers got you there. I never want to be in a position where I think of myself better than anyone else. We are all humans that are rotating on this planet we call Earth.
