Perhaps the first failure of the Barbara Nice and Friends podcast as we are kept on the hook through multiple days to talk to Shazia Mirza about the return to live performing she shared with Barbara at Manchester's Frog and Bucket....
Yet we ended up with someone else entirely.

One Week ago, Mrs Barbara Nice performed a triumphant return to live comedy at the Frog and Bucket club in Manchester.
The gig was supposed to be a new dawn for comedy under the restrictions of the pandemic, but alas it wasn't to be.
The day after it happened, the government announced it was back into lockdown for many parts of the north.

To this end, Barbara intended to celebrate a job well done and commiserate a job well done in isolation with another of the acts from that night, Shazia Mizra. But pinning Shazia down to a time to record a podcast proved to be quite a tricky idea indeed, so instead Barbara shared her own tales from that night as she waited for Shazia to join her...and then someone else appeared down the line....
