Success Stories | Lund University International Podcast

In this episode, we meet Hoà Tăng, a Lund University alumna originally from Vietnam who studied the Master's programme in Language and Linguistics. After graduation, she went on to undertake a variety of international education, including a PhD in Hong Kong, after which she returned to Vietnam where she now works as a lecturer and research at the University of Finance — Marketing in Ho Chi Minh City. Together with host Timothy Parker, Hoà discusses how Lund University shaped her vision of academia and her plans for the future, and instilled the skills she prizes now in her career in academia. She also discusses navigating a complex international view of different education systems, with all the highs and lows that come with a love of academia, and how she is trying to pass on the lessons she learned in Sweden to her students in Vietnam.
