Making Sense of Complexity features conversations with complexity science practitioners and philosophers on the deep and fascinating findings of complexity science. How do we make sense of the uncertain and seemingly incomprehensible world we live in? Hosted by George Gantz, the
production is a collaboration with Spiral Inquiry, Planksip, Talk of Today, and Complexity Adventures, and is produced by True Spectrum Media.
Today our guest is Mike Radzicki, an economist and expert in system dynamics, a model-based approach to analyzing complex organizations and systems, first pioneered by his colleague Jay Forrester in the 1960’s. Mike has spoken and consulted globally on system dynamics and its
important contributions towards a better understanding of complex system behavior. In this episode we explore the roots of system dynamics and its goal of making sense of complexity in economics, markets and management.

What is Making Sense of Complexity with George Gantz?
Have you ever wondered why the world seems so complex and chaotic? How do we make sense of it all? This new video/audio podcast series, “Making Sense of Complexity”, will feature conversations with complexity science practitioners and philosophers on the deep and fascinating findings of complexity science. How do we make sense of the uncertain and seemingly incomprehensible world we live in. Hosted by George Gantz, the production is a collaboration with Spiral Inquiry, Planksip, Talk of Today, and Complexity Weekend, and is produced by True Spectrum Media.
We may not resolve the key philosophical questions of causation, free will, consciousness, ethics, the nature of reality, the limits of evidence, the basis of belief or the meaning of life. But we hope to get a better understanding of complexity science and offer some ideas of how to make sense of the world we live in.
Episodes are posted on the 1st and 15th of every month.
