People, Planet, Progress

Welcome to People, Planet, Progress, broadcasting the first and third Tuesday of every month at 6:30pm, following Alan Stahler’s “Soundings,” only here on KVMR.

Today we cover some local news on free public transit for youth before moving to national news and then international news, including China’s green energy world domination and their hitting peak carbon emissions five years ahead of schedule. Then we read a longer piece about the possible benefits of burying trees that have been killed by wildfire.

We end with another page from the 365 Days of Personal Climate Action Inspiration book.

For questions, comments, or links to news we read, please email ppp@kvmr.org.

Feel free to visit our social media page for daily news headlines in between shows.
