That’s the question everyone keeps asking — and it’s time to stop pretending we don’t know the answer.
We are here because 77 million Americans refused to elect a Black woman as president. Not policy. Not “the economy.” Not gas prices. White supremacy. Full stop.
For over 400 years — since 1619 — white Americans have benefited from this system, stayed comfortable inside it, and kicked the can down the road while Black, Brown, Indigenous, immigrant, and marginalized communities paid the price. Now the bill is due.
If you’re white and uncomfortable hearing this — good. That discomfort is necessary. Progress has never come from comfort. It comes from disruption, sacrifice, and people willing to use their privilege to dismantle the system that gave it to them.
White people are not “attacked” by this truth. We are implicated by it. And until we own that, nothing changes.
This video isn’t about guilt — it’s about responsibility.
It’s about naming the root problem so we can actually fight it.
