Join our current events support zoomcast show hosted by Jan Landy and his knowledgeable affable panel of friends and colleagues for an entertaining robust discussion offering opinions on anything related to a working professional life in general.
Our ZoomCast isn’t just a fountain of knowledge; it’s also a opportunity to laugh. Think of it as therapy, but with more jokes and fewer couches. Join us and share your thoughts. Stay updated on life and world events, and enjoy multiple good chuckles along the way. 😄
Offer your support and opinions. We ZoomCast STREAM LIVE ON FACEBOOK, LINKEDIN, AND YOUTUBE every Wednesday at 5 PM - Pacific (UTC-7)/ 8 PM EDT
Topics Discussed (01/21/2026): Jan, Gregory, and Ken coordinated logistics for upcoming trips to Palm Springs and NAMM, including a guitar sale where Jan offered a white Fender Custom Shop Strat to David for $2,000. During the meeting, Jan implemented new manual Zoom admission controls, designating Ken and Gregory as co-hosts to assist. The group also touched on personal updates, such as Ken's recent birthday and Foo Fighters concert experience, Gregory’s new glasses, and Kim’s rehearsal plans in Tampa.
Technical discussions dominated the rest of the call, specifically regarding audio latency testing with Dante and VST software, and troubleshooting Jan’s microphone settings. Gregory shared the unfortunate news that his sound recording position for NASA’s Artemis II launch was cut due to budget shifts toward Starlink, resulting in a fire sale of high-end NASA audio gear. Finally, Jan reviewed strong December YouTube metrics and planned future manufacturer presentations for the show, aiming to secure commitments from brands like Sennheiser and Shure during NAMM.
