Reading 1 Kings Chapter 21

King Ahab mopes about not being able to buy Naboth's field, so Jezebel contrives Naboth's murder. When King Ahab casually goes to claim the field, Yahweh sends Elijah to tell him how he will be judged for this murderous theft. Surprisingly, King Ahab responds with humility and gets a slight reprieve. Jezebel gives no indication of repentance. Read from the World English Bible.
