Paul continues to encourage the Corinthians in their correct and wonderful response to the "severe letter". Titus himself as the envoy was refreshed and comforted by the response and the fact that Paul had actually bragged (properly) to Titus that the Corinthians would repent was vindicated by Titus's report. An exposition of 2 Corinthians 7:10-14.
Paul continues his discipleship of the saints in Corinth. Following his first letter, he saw some growth but he also saw a continued deviation from the Word of God. He defends his apostleship and points the Corinthians to Christ for their continued sanctification.
