They Just Get it

What do you get when someone living with Bipolar I Disorder is working to obtain their Bachelor’s of Social Work and transform our communities faced with mental health and addiction? You get Robyn Zimmerman, outreach worker with Alberta Health Services. This episode will inform you about the realities of mental health, including how our society currently talks about it versus how we should talk about it, how addiction and mental health can happen concurrently, and why patient-centred care is critical to shifting the paradigm of care for those battling mental illness or addiction.
