Coffee With Jeff

Gordon and Nancy Frye chat about six of their favorite historical films, with a few bonus mentions.

Show Notes

We could do a deep dive on any of these six films, but we want to give you just enough of a taste that you might be inclined to seek them out yourselves. We picked movies that aren’t necessarily blockbusters. Some have just gotten lost in the never-ending onslaught of newer films, some were popular overseas but not in America, and some just have nostalgia value.

Gordon's picks: Zulu (1964), Appaloosa (2008), Alatriste (2006)
Nancy's picks: A Very Long Engagement (2004), Conagher (1991), Gunga Din (1939)
Bonus mentions: Ride with the Devil, Joyeux Noel, Tombstone, They Shall Not Grow Old.

What is Coffee With Jeff?

A short true tale told every Sunday morning as told by Jeff! Each story is told as accurately as possible with, hopefully, a bit of humor. This is the place in which you hear things you probably never knew, or probably never wanted to know.
