Alex gives an account of what it's like to travel in South Africa, how easy it is to go on your own or take a guided tour. He talks about what the weather is like at different times of the year, the scenery, what to expect with viewing wildlife, and more. He took his first trip to South Africa in 1998 and is about to take his 50th trip there. Having developed a passion for moto travel in South Africa he runs Kaapstad Motorcycle Tours, guiding trips and sharing his enthusiasm for this country. With all the experience he has in South Africa, he has a wealth of information to share about this magical country for those of you thinking of going there.

Linda Bootherstone Bick - Into Africa With a Smile
Linda Bootherstone-Bick has been travelling around the world for over 50 years on a motorcycle. She's written three books about her adventures, with the newest one being "Into Africa With a Smile". The book is about her trip to Africa in 1974, a time when few people visited Africa, let alone on a motorcycle. She travelled around for 15 months, experiencing numerous breakdowns and even malaria. And despite all the setbacks, she still kept a smile on her face.
