Cold Steel: Canadian Journal of Surgery Podcast

Welcome back to another episode of our “Companion” series on the important topic of death and dying in surgery.  Dr. Kelly Vogt lead our discussion, and we were lucky enough to also be joined again by Dr. Morad Hameed. We focused on the topic of Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID), but branched out to explore how we can better prepare surgeons and patients for discussions around end of life care. We’d love to hear your thoughts – how does MAID get operationalized in your hospital, and how does that interact with the surgical service?
