- Silence non‑urgent notifications.
- Respond during your published hours only.
- Publish and enforce your office hours
- Add hours to your email signature, voicemail, and onboarding materials.
- Use an auto‑reply that states your response window and urgent channel.
- Create one exception rule
- Decide how many outside‑hour exceptions you allow per month.
- Communicate this clearly to clients who need flexibility.
- Send a boundary reset message
- Kindly explain your new schedule and response window.
- Reinforce that you will respond within 24 hours during business hours.
- Protect one family moment this week
- Dinner, bedtime, a walk, or a conversation — phone off, heart present.
- Let this moment remind you who God entrusted to you first.
