She had even branded herself as The Professional Lesbian and wrote four books around LGBTQ+ specific topics. But one day she felt like it was an albatross around her neck, and she was so much more than what she was known for. So she took a step back and realized that she didn't have to be the one leading the charge all the time - she could have a much greater impact by helping others share their stories.
