Steve Black, known as Blackie, was the larger-than-life coach at Newcastle Falcons and had roles with The Welsh National rugby team and the British and Irish Lions as well as being a very long-time mentor for Jonny. Blackie was kind enough to guest for the Pilot episode of the I Am podcast and this is what you will hear today. In the episode, Blackie talks to Jonny about his feel-based coaching style, applied across all the teams he worked with ( he also coached football at Newcastle United, and Sunderland as well as many other teams).
