They explored the “Hard Problem” of understanding how something material can have consciousness and what it would look like if our worldview shifted from a Newtonian perspective to a quantum view.

Alexander Wendt, PhD is Mershon Professor of International Security and Professor of Political Science at The Ohio State University. Wendt is interested in philosophical aspects of social science, with special reference to international relations. His recent book, Quantum Mind and Social Science, explores the implications for social science of the possibility that consciousness is a macroscopic quantum mechanical phenomenon – in effect, that human beings are walking wave functions. https://www.alexanderwendt.org
