Chamber of Commerce President, Pammie Jimmar, talks with Samantha Brinkley, CEO of Rocket City HR Consulting. Samantha started her HR business with only a few file boxes traveling to businesses too small to have their own HR department. Fast forward 12 years and the company has grown to a team of 7 professionals handling everything from hiring to firing, recruiting, succession planning, HR compliance, and employee handbooks. As a woman and veteran (Air Force) business owner, Samantha sees HR as the intersection of people and business and helping organizations succeed has been a rewarding career. She has plans for expansion but also has time to be involved with the Women's Economic Development Council, the AUM Foundation, The Society for Human Resource Management, and the Rocket City Novas.
