Summary

Dr. Nancy Wise speaks about the French Immersion program and meeting the needs of all learners.

Show Notes

This episode features Dr. Nancy Wise, who is the Director of French Immersion Educational Consulting Inc. based in the Toronto Area. She has her Ph.D. in Second Language Education and a M.Ed. in Special Education from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) of the University of Toronto. I have seen her present at conferences including the Association canadienne des professionnels d’immersion (ACPI) annual conference.
After spending her career working as a special education teacher and advocating for the educational needs of exceptional students and those with learning challenges, she now runs a consulting business that assists parents who are either considering French immersion for their child or have a child who is struggling in the French immersion program.
To connect with Dr. Wise, follow her on Twitter @FIEdConsulting or go to the French Immersion Educational Consulting website.
