This week on “The Debbie Matthews’ Show” I am a little sleepy from doing election coverage the night before. My brain was still on “needs rest setting” but we talked about the outcomes of the primary races….The biggest being the Congressional 5th District. Charlie Hatcher for the win….and what it means for our area to have our hometown boy to lose. Not that he was really a hometown boy- he wasn’t born here and he was never really around. But still, it was a monumental upset. So much so that the President called into the TN GOP office to complain that they let a Trump endorsed candidate lose.
