Andrew Schmidt joins Colter Nuanez for a Halloween edition of Talkin' Schmidt. The guys dig into the University of Montana's budget problems, with enrollment flat and faculty being cut while millions go to administration instead of the athletic department, and why the Bobcats have dominated the all-sports race. Schmidt says the Griz just need a C defense, not an F, and should feed Eli Gillman, while Colter wonders if elite defense is dead in the Big Sky in the transfer portal era. Plus: is the Griz defense being reorganized behind closed doors, and do coaches over-coach with endless formations and sleeping at the office? And can Montana get two more stops a game, win at Eastern Washington and surge down the stretch?
Talkin' Schmidt is presented by Holloway & Hulling.
