Welcome to today's YouTube For Realtors WALK AND TALK #5- I have so many things going through my head every day about YouTube for Realtors that I just want to get it all out! I get asked so many questions everyday and coach so many agents it's time to answer all of those in depth, on my walk to the gym!
In today’s episode I do a deep dive into the #1 reason NOT to join eXp Reality. Now before we all start jumping because of the title. I’ll walk you through our journey in the world's most talked-about topic in real estate: eXp Though most real estate brokers were inviting from their old passionate approach, the eXp way is nasty, I will never forget the first time I was "recruited" in the real estate market. It was when Jesse and I was reached out by a guy while we are starting our momentum in Youtube and marketing world. He invited us for lunch and started offering us this awesome studio with features that we can utilize while we’re filming a lot of videos. It was already beginning to resemble a Pyramid Scheme in my thoughts. We were waiting for the pros and cons of this offer and here comes his intro about eXp, I never anticipated him to say outright that eXp has changed his life and that he may no longer be able to sell real estate and will instead focus on recruiting others. Like wth? I’m a young guy who is just getting started in real estate world and grinding myself to work then you just basically rub it on our face that he just needs us to earn money to not do or sell real estates. It was one of the most dreadful experiences I'd ever had.
And now I'm wondering why so many people, including top executives and big influencers, are still interested in joining eXp. Curiosity got the better of us, and we started looking into it. Jesse, who has always been a business focused individual, was fascinated and asked if he could speak with genuine individuals and discuss how does eXp can help us while we offer ours. If they truly want us to advance in eXp, Jesse wants to have value out of it. He told me we were leaving right after the meeting, and I was like, "What happened?" ”. He began by claiming that all of the fellas attempting to recruit us are telling us the wrong tale. They recognized the added value to it but they are unsure about how much to give. From that day, we were introduced to bigger opportunities and it’s like a dream come true. Talking to real people, tell them what you want to achieve and they can help you without gaining any profit.
That's where everything was aligned when we first joined eXp. From where we need to be to those who are willing to give everything they have. And if you join the wrong person, your doomed You will absolutely no value.
