Jubilee directed by Vikramaditya Motwane is set in the pre and post-independence era of the Bollywood industry, where we follow the journey of the fictional Roy Talkies and the people there. Binod Das, Jay Khanna, Niloufer, Sumitra Kumari, and Shrikant Roy, all these characters get entangled in each other’s lives as the darker side of the industry soon becomes evident. The CInephiliacs, Sanmitra Deshpande, Ojas Kurlekar, Saee Shaligram, Omkar Kanetkar, and Samruddhi Kelkar dive into these abstract characters and the vibe of the series.
