The Whole Community Alliance for Disability Equity is a specialized alliance of advocates, businesses, and governmental groups focused on emergency management planning for individuals with disabilities. Their core purpose is to close the gap in state and local emergency management that often leaves out or disregards members of the disability community during crisis and disaster planning. They work to bring all relevant stakeholders to the table to ensure emergency preparedness, response, and recovery strategies are inclusive and properly serve the disability population. Today I speak with Executive Director Mark Jenkins.

What is Dose of Good?
In a world where we constantly hear about the bad and negative things that go on. I want to highlight the good that is happening around us every day but doesn't get shared or talked about. On this podcast, I will be sharing Non-Profits and the individuals who help make them a success. I would also love to celebrate good people doing good and kind things on their own. If you know of anyone, send them my way!
