That's why we've created Election Disassembled – a series of short, unfiltered conversations with the candidates standing in Jersey's 2026 election.
Our team issued every candidate the same challenge: come into our studio, sit down with us, and explain why Islanders should vote for you. No campaign rally. No carefully managed audience. Just a microphone and their ideas.
Some were brave enough to take up the challenge. Some weren’t.
Those who did were asked to sum up their vision for Jersey in two minutes before facing a round of quick-fire questions based on the big issues YOU, our readers, told us want to hear from candidates about – as well as some lighter hearted ones designed to reveal a little more about the person behind the politics.
The aim isn't to tell you how to vote. It's to give you the information you need to make up your own mind.
